Welcome to Burlington Chinese School !
Burlington Chinese School (BCS) was established in 1984. There are about two hundred students in the school. Our goal is to establish a partnership between home and school, so we can not only teach and encourage students to learn Chinese language, but also promote Chinese culture.
The objective of this school is to help the Chinese Canadians in the community keep their tradition, learn the Chinese language, and promote understanding between Chinese-Canadian and other ethnic groups by teaching the Chinese language lessons and Chinese culture lessons to any person, regardless of age, sex, color, religion, national origin or creed. The BCS welcome you to join us.
BCS has six Mandarin Classes, one Cantonese classes, and two class of Credit Course at this time. In addition to the language classes, BCS also has activity classes such as: Chinese Art class, Chinese Dance class, Badminton class and more to come.
The school hours are between 9:00am-12:30pm every Saturday. Chinese classes are between 9:00am ~11:30 am. The activity classes are between 11:30am ~12:30pm.
While the kids are in the class, the BCS is also having fun classes and activities such as: TaiChi, Folk Dance, Line Dance class for our parents. All these classes are almost free of charge, thanks to our active parents' help.
